Square Face
Slightly curved frames complement this face shape. The top of the frame should sit high enough on the face to downplay the jaw-line.
Oval Face
More frames look good with this face shape than any other, as long as the size of the frames is in proportion to the face.
Round Face
Select frames with straight or angular lines. Deep colours such as black or turquoise also minimizes the roundness.
Oblong Face
Find frames to cover as much of the center of the face as possible, in order to minimize the length of the face.
Base-Down Triangle
A base-down triangular face has a narrow forehead and widens at the cheek and chin areas. Try frames that are heavily accented with color and detailing on the top half.
Base-Up Triangle
This face has a very wide top third and small bottom third. Try frames that are wider at the bottom, very light colors and materials and rimless frame styles.
Diamond
Diamond-shaped faces are narrow at the eye line and jaw line, and have broad cheekbones. Try frames that have detailing or distinctive brow lines, or try rimless frames or oval and cat-eye shapes.
